Bringing the cricket club to its members
Cricket clubs reduced the work and the cost of administering their sport, improved communication and interaction between members, whilst providing additional value to sponsors.
Challenge:
Four key needs were identified for cricket clubs:
- To enhance the members’ experience of their cricket club
- To communicate with members efficiently and cost effectively based on their interests and type of affiliation with the club
- To simplify the work for volunteer administrators

Solution:
To date, BOM has provided four District Cricket Clubs with personalised websites designed to enhance their club branding and personality. The flexible web environment enables them to update information easily without technical assistance via web-based administrator access. An online membership database enables administrators to centralise member details and contact information in a single, updatable system accessible by anyone authorized by the club.
Our system enables the club to communicate via email to their stakeholders by interest group, as well as providing certain information to select stakeholder groups in restricted access areas of the website.
BOM’s solution integrates ResultsVault, the leading statistical package for seamless communication of vital playing stats and a main interest of members.
Sponsors gain value by being able to target selected information areas and audiences, leveraging messages for measurable results.
Results:
Significant administrative costs savings, incremental revenue opportunities via enhanced sponsorship value and secure online sales of membership, event tickets and club merchandise and improved communication with club members, supporters and the community at large.
