Gordon Cricket brings the family together!

With more than a century of success behind them and looking ahead to a successful season, Gordon District Cricket Club asked BOM some important questions…

  • How can we promote and grow our Grade, Junior’s and Women’s clubs in the 2005-6 season?
  • How can we maximise the experience for our members, supporters and our sponsors?
  • How can we grow our sponsorship income this season?
  • How can we make administering the clubs easier for our committee members?

The answer is now available for the world to see at ...

How the new websites will help Gordon Cricket's clubs…

Easy to update the website, with no technical skill needed - Each website is an independent communication tool for each club, servicing the needs of each community in delivering information on matches, results, selections, news, events, photo galleries and much more.

Each website can send e-newsletters to update members on the latest news – to different groups within the organisation, eg. players, to supporters to committee members only.

No chasing members for payment, no extra admin - Each website has the capability to use online payment for membership subscriptions, merchandise and event ticket sales via the web from members’ credit cards or BPay, direct into a single bank account.

Each website includes a member database - contact details and other vital information available to authorised administrators no matter where they are, as it is available on the internet.

Each website can create private communication areas - the convenience of the web with privacy and confidentiality, for members only, or committee only etc.

Websites can share information that applies to all clubs, with just one place to update information – this can include sponsorship information, as the club can now leverage a significant audience for maximum sponsorship benefit.

Websites can provide more for sponsors - including ‘mini-websites’ within the club website in order to promote their relationship and any special offers for members.

Websites have a range of other capabilities - more can be added to suit the clubs’ needs as they grow with the technology – from SMS communication to discussion forums and more.
